The Otago Volts will take on the Northern Knights in the 29th game of the 2020-21 Dream11 Super Smash, and will be played at the University Oval, Dunedin on February 6th at 7:40 AM IST.
The Otago Volts are rock-bottom in the points table, having won just two out of their nine games and are already out of the race to the semifinals. However, they will be keen to end the season on a winning note.
The Northern Knights, on the other hand, have confirmed their place in the next round irrespective of what the result is against the Volts. But they would still like to take the winning momentum from the league phase into the next round.
OV vs NK Dream11 Prediction:
Although the Otago Volts have won all four encounters between the two sides over the last two years, their current form has been abysmal as they have lost five in a row.
The Northern Knights have been on a great run as they have won their last three games and thus will be favorites to avenge their defeats against the Volts.

Captain: Kane Williamson
Kane Williamson is arguably one of the best batsmen in the world across all three formats, and he showed exactly why in the previous Super Smash game where he scored a brilliant 79 off just 55 balls to see his team home. The 30-year-old will be keen to absorb all the pressure and produce yet another match-winning performance.
Vice-captain: Tim Seifert
Tim Seifert is rightly considered as the next big thing in New Zealand cricket. After his magnificent performances in the T20I series against Pakistan, he brought the same form to this tournament and although they lost to the Volts last time, Seifert had scored a fantastic 74 runs. Thus, he will be determined to continue his great form and is a fine choice for vice-captaining the fantasy cricket team.

Tim Seifert, Max Chu, Kane Williamson, Neil Broom, Nick Kelly, Anaru Kitchen, Mitchell Santner, Colin de Grandhomme, Trent Boult, Mitchell McClenaghan, Tim Southee.
Captain:Colin de Grandhomme
New Zealand all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme has not quite set the stage ablaze in this season of the Super Smash. However, that does not take away anything from the threat that he creates in the minds of the opposition. If he could get it right on his day, he is capable of producing a match-winning performance with both bat and ball, and this is a great choice for captaining the Dream11 team.
Vice-captain: Anaru Kitchen
Anaru Kitchen has been one of the shining lights for the Otago Volts this season. The veteran has consistently contributed throughout the tournament and will look to end it with a fine performance.

Tim Seifert, Max Chu, Kane Williamson, Neil Broom, Nick Kelly, Michael Rippon, Mitchell Santner, Colin de Grandhomme, Trent Boult, Mitchell McClenaghan, Tim Southee.
Captain: Michael Rippon
Having a left-arm wrist-spinner always provides a different kind of variety. But when he has the ability to bat as well, it is just the icing on the cake needed. Michael Rippon has impressed one and all with his impactful performances. Thus this could finally be his game where he could dish out a match-winning performance and thus, is a surprising but effective choice for captaining the Dream11 team.
Vice-captain: Trent Boult
Arguably one of the finest left-arm seamers going around in World Cricket at the moment, Boult has been devastating with the new ball throughout his career. Although he has only played three games for the Knights this season, he will be keen to deliver a stunning performance with the ball.
