Hurricanes will host the Scorchers in their next home game at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart, Tasmania.
Both the teams will be entering the fixture with winning momentum behind them. While Hurricanes defeated Sydney Sixers in their previous game, the Scorchers dominated the Adelaide Strikers in their last BBL 2021-22 game.

Can Hurricanes beat Scorchers in the all-important HUR vs SCO BBL encounter?
Tough one to predict since Scorchers are undefeated in the tournament so far but the Hurricanes will be playing at their den the Bellerive Oval. Expect another close encounter where Scorchers, the last runners-up, would have to do well to keep their winning run going.
1. Colin Munro (9.5 credits) – Munro scored a terrific hundred in Scorchers’ victory over the Strikers. After a slow start, the New Zealand batter switched on the gear and ended with a 114 not out off 73 balls, including 8 fours and 6 sixes. Munro’s fantastic form makes him a good captaincy choice for this game.
2. Matthew Wade (9.5 credits) – another top-order player in his elements last game was Wade. The Hurricanes skipper dominated his way to a 46-ball 93 in the win over Sixers, which allowed his team to post a gigantic score of 213/2 in their massive 44-run win via the DLS method.
3. Andrew Tye (9 credits) – Tye has been amongst the wickets for Scorchers. The pacer ended with figures of 3/21 in the win over Strikers. He has now taken five wickets in the tournament already while going for 7.57 runs per over.
1. Cameron Bancroft (8.5 credits) – Bancroft played a useful knock of 45 off 37 balls at the top of the order for Scorchers last game. He played his part in the win against Strikers by stitching an opening stand of 132 runs with Munro.
2. Jason Behrendorff (8.5 credits) – Behrendorff, the Scorchers left-arm seamer, bowled an important spell of 3/22 in the second half to help his team keep the Strikers down to just 146, enabling Scorchers’ huge 49-run win.
3. Caleb Jewell (8.5 credits) – Jewell, the Hurricanes middle-order bat, played an important hand for his team in the win over Sixers. He blasted a 23-ball 42 after coming in at No.3 to push the Hurricanes past 200 batting first. The batter struck six fours and one six through his knock.
