The first game of round 2 of the Dutch one-fay tournament will be played between the Haagse CC (HGCC) and the VRA Cricket Club (VRA) at the De Diepput The Hague, Netherlands on May 8th at 3: 30 PM IST.
HGCC had a brilliant tournament last season ending up as champions and have started this season with a win in the opening round. VRA, on the other hand, had a disappointing season last time where they finished fifth and have started this tournament with a loss in the opening round.
HGCC look quite a strong side on paper and also have the winning momentum with them. They will fancy themselves to beat VRA in the upcoming encounter.
Weather Report:
Overcast conditions are expected with high chances of rain and the average temperature being around 11 degrees. Fingers will be crossed as the forecast doesn’t seem to be promising to get a complete game.
Pitch Report:
Round 1 saw a majority of low-scoring games as the seamers have dominated in favorable conditions. Thus, anything around the 200-run mark could be quite a difficult target to chase down.
