Bokaro Blasters are the defending champions and were head and shoulders above all the others last season. They will once again be the team to beat this season.
Ranchi Raiders did make it to the semis last year, but they will be keen on going one step ahead and making it to the final. They do have Aditya Singh in their ranks, who was the Player of the tournament in the last edition. Still, they would need to be at their very best.
The defending champions Bokaro Blasters will start as favorites in this contest.

The pitch at the JSCA stadium is always good for spinners as the pitch slows down with the game progressing. Any total in excess of 160 would be competitive.
