After an action-packed first two rounds of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025/26, Round 3 has continued to deliver high-quality cricket. Here’s a full roundup of top moments and performances.
In the Baroda vs Uttar Pradesh match at the Sanosara Cricket Ground A in Rajkot, Dhruv Jurel played a brilliant knock in the first innings. He scored an unbeaten 160 off just 101 balls, hitting 15 fours and eight sixes, and batted at a strike rate of 158.42. In the previous match, he scored 67 against Chandigarh, and before that, he made 80 against Hyderabad. He has now scored 307 runs in three innings this season and is making a strong case for an ODI call up for the upcoming New Zealand series.
In the same match, Rinku Singh scored 63 off 67 balls, including two fours and three sixes. Rinku is also in good form. He scored an unbeaten 106 against Chandigarh in the previous match and 67 against Hyderabad before that. He has scored 236 runs in three innings so far.
In the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26 match between Chhattisgarh and Mumbai, captain Shardul Thakur picked up four wickets. He bowled five overs, conceded just 13 runs, and helped Mumbai bowl Chhattisgarh out for 142. Shardul has now taken eight wickets in three innings this season.
In the same match, Shams Mulani claimed a five wicket haul. He bowled 9.1 overs and gave away 31 runs.

Ramakrishna Ghosh produced a brilliant seven-wicket haul in the Himachal Pradesh vs Maharashtra match. He bowled 9.4 overs, conceding 42 runs while claiming seven wickets. Despite his efforts in the first innings, Maharashtra fell short and lost the match by seven runs. Ghosh has been retained by CSK for IPL 2026.
In the J&K vs Vidarbha match, Auqib Nabi showed all-round skills by scoring 40 runs off 26 balls in the first innings and taking two wickets in the second innings. In the same match, Yudhvir Singh also impressed for J&K, scoring 42* off 24 balls and taking three wickets in the second innings. Despite their efforts, J&K lost the match by five wickets.

In the Karnataka vs Tamil Nadu match at Gujarat College Cricket Ground ‘A’, Ahmedabad, Shreyas Gopal took one wicket while conceding 47 runs in 10 overs. In the second innings, he scored 55 off 47 balls, helping Karnataka chase 289 runs successfully.
In the Jharkhand vs Pondicherry match at Narendra Modi Stadium Ground ‘B’, Motera, Ahmedabad, Kumar Kushagra scored 105 runs off 104 balls, including 10 fours and two sixes. In the same innings, Anukul Roy scored 98 not out off 53 balls, hitting seven fours and eight sixes, with a strike rate of 184.91. Jharkhand scored 368 for 7 in their 50 overs. In the second innings, they restricted Pondicherry to 235 all out, with Anukul Roy taking two wickets. Jharkhand won the match by 133 runs.
In the Goa vs Sikkim match, Lalit Yadav scored an unbeaten 131 off 111 balls, including 14 fours. Thanks to his innings, Goa posted 309 for 8. In the second innings, they restricted Sikkim to 247 for 7 and won the match by 62 runs.
In the Bengal vs Chandigarh match at Niranjan Shah Stadium, Rajkot, Manan Vohra scored 122 off 127 balls, including nine fours and two sixes, helping Chandigarh post 319 in 50 overs. In reply, Mukesh Kumar starred with the ball for Bengal, taking five wickets for 59 runs in 10 overs, while Mohammed Shami took three wickets. Abishek Porel then scored 106 off 84 balls, including 12 fours and two sixes, and Shahbaz Ahmed remained unbeaten on 76 off 61, guiding Bengal to a six-wicket win. Shahbaz also took two wickets in the first innings.
