In a hilarious incident, we saw a measuring tape coming out from the dugout as Hardik Pandya couldn't spot his bowling mark.
Hardik Pandya came on to bowl in the 10th over of the innings and immediately caused a commotion as he couldn’t spot his bowling mark from where he would take his normal run up. After hunting amongst the several other marks, Hardik had enough and called for a measuring tape, indicating to the dugout multiple times, to measure his run up even as the Rajasthan Royals batters were helplessly left watching.
Hilariously, a support staff came out with a measuring tape and helped Hardik mark his run up as we daw a delay in play due to the incident.
Hardik Pandya has taken the new ball quite often in this IPL, but here with Gujarat Titans bringing in Yash Dayal, the impressive Uttar Pradesh left-arm quick and Hardik struggling with an apparent back niggle after his knock of 87* while batting first, his bowling entry was delayed.

Hardik went on to bowl a good over, like he has done so many times in IPl 2022, conceding just seven runs off it to SHimron Hetmyer and Rassie van der Dussen. Gujarat Titans had only clawed their way back into the game after a sensational 23-ball fifty from Jos Buttler in the powerplay overs. Th run out of Sanju Samson by Hardik Pandya had further dented RR in the run chase of 193.
