Who will win the IND vs SL Dream11 penultimate game of the three-match T20I series?
India start as overwhelming favourites to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. The visitors, missing two key bowlers Maheesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga, struggled badly with the ball in Lucknow and looked at no stage in the contest with the bat either. Despite missing few key players themselves, India dominated their Asian counterparts. Expect the theme to continue.
Rohit Sharma (10.5 credits): Rohit is an obvious captaincy pick heading into this contest. The Indian skipper and elegant opener has been a consistent performer at the top of the order. He made a measured but important 44 off 32 balls in the Lucknow T20I.
Ishan Kishan (9 credits): Lucknow brought back the spark in Kishan, who had struggled versus the West Indies, but top-scored in the opening T20I versus Sri Lanka with a 56-ball 89, including 10 fours and 3 sixes.
Shreyas Iyer (9 credits): It was an important encounter for Shreyas, too, as the backup middle-order batter played a belligerent knock of 57 not out from 28 deliveries. His knock helped India take the game further away from the tourists.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar (8.5 credits): As against the West Indies, Bhuvneshwar looked in his element in the first T20I in Lucknow, taking two early wickets in the powerplay to derail Sri Lanka’s progress. He didn’t bowl another over for the night but finished with figures of 2 for 9.
Yuzvendra Chahal (8.5 credits): Chahal had a field outing with the ball as well, taking 1 for 11 off his 3 overs. The veteran leggie is expected to enjoy his time against Sri Lanka in the coming two matches as well.
Charith Asalanka (8.5 credits): Asalanka was Sri Lanka’s lone-ranger with the willow in hand in Lucknow. The batter struck an unbeaten half-century (53* off 47 balls) to give the scorecard some respectability. He looked the only batter in some control against a quality Indian attack.
