The Scorchers start as favourites for this game, purely considering the two teams’ form leading into the contest. While the Scorchers are undefeated in the competition and sit at the top of the pile, the Renegades are placed eighth with just a solitary win.
1. Mitchell Marsh (10 credits) – In his very first match upon return to the BBL, Marsh scored a fantastic hundred. His magnificent form since the T20 World Cup in UAE makes him a bright captaincy choice for all contests.
2. Colin Munro (9.5 credits) – the New Zealand left-hander may not have been at his best but his hundred against Adelaide Strikers once again reaffirmed his status as one of BBL’s most dangerous power-hitters. Munro, if he gets going, is a very rewarding choice for captaincy.
3. Kurtis Patterson (9 credits) – Patterson is Scorchers’ top run-getter of the competition so far. He has made 146 runs from his 4 outings with an average of 48.66 and strike-rate of 165.90, including two half-centuries.
1. Zahir Khan (8.5 credits) – the Afghan bowler is Renegades’ top wicket-taker of the BBL 2021-22 so far. He has picked up 7 wickets from his three games while maintaining an excellent economy rate of 7.
2. P Hatzoglou (8.5 credits) – Hatzoglou, the Scorchers legspinner, has contributed five wickets for Scorchers so far, with an economy rate of 7.68. He bowled a superb spell of 2/29 in the win against the Hurricanes last game.
3. Mackenzie Harvey (8 credits) – Harvey is Renegades’ highest run-getter of the BBL 2021-22 so far. The batter has struck 146 runs at an average of 73 and strike-rate of 128.07.
