A year on after the first-ever finale of the Lanka Premier League, the same franchises which appeared in the first finale are the last two standing to lay hands on the title. Despite having a stellar season this time, Jaffna Kings have lost all their three meetings against the Gladiators, all of them quite one-sidedly. There is a cause of concern for the defending champions, but once you step on the field, it’s a different ball game altogether.
The Gladiators have had a topsy-turvy campaign, but have picked up form exactly when it mattered the most. As it stands, form favors them to go all the way, but there is no denying of a fact that a repeat of last season final is a definite possibility.

Avishka Fernando: Coming into this game on the back of a sensational century, Avishka Fernando will be booming in confidence and should be given the vice-captaincy. He has scored 249 runs at a strike rate of 152.76.
Jayden Seales: In the 6 games he played this season, Seales has picked up a whopping 14 wickets and it is quite a blessing for fantasy managers that he is available at just 8.5 credit points.
Isuru Udana: A T20 specialist bowler capable of mixing up his pace well in the death overs, Isuru Udana has picked up 4 wickets this tournament and can be a worthwhile addition at 8.5 credits.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz: He lived up to his fullest potential last game, smashing an outrageous 40-ball 70 inside the first 14 overs. He is a very useful prospect for fantasy teams and costs just 8.5 credits.
